Eco-Friendly Ganpati Visarjan at Shree H. N. Shukla College

Shree H. N. Shukla College took a meaningful step towards environmental conservation by celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with an eco-friendly clay idol of Lord Ganesha this year.

On 20 September 2026, the college organized the Ganpati Visarjan ceremony within the college premises with great enthusiasm and devotion. The idol was immersed in a specially arranged large water tank at the college ground, ensuring an environmentally responsible and sustainable celebration.

A large number of students actively participated in the Visarjan ceremony, creating an atmosphere filled with devotion, unity, and enthusiasm. The initiative aimed to promote awareness about the importance of protecting our environment while preserving the cultural and spiritual significance of the festival.

Through the use of a natural clay Ganpati idol and an on-campus immersion facility, Shree H. N. Shukla College has taken a positive step towards encouraging eco-friendly celebrations and responsible environmental practices in society.
